Fully restored and rebuilt 1914 John Broadwood with full rounded tone and responsive even touch. The case is like new, stripped back to reveal the wood grain in the veneer and then resprayed in several coats of Satin Rosewood. The internals are rebuilt was thousands of parts including: hammer heads, tapes, springs, felts, buckskins, bushings and leathers. Strings, soundboard, frame and brass works refinished. The original ivory keys are snow white and immaculate, very rare for its age and testament to how well looked after it was by its previous owners. It was tuned to Concert Pitch every six months.

John Broadwood are the oldest and most respected manufacturers in the world. All other manufacturers that followed learned from Broadwood who were responsible for the early stages in the evolution of the piano. They were enjoyed by all the famous composers.

This piano has a superb tone and response. It's one of the best examples of a Broadwood we have ever had in our showrooms and plays better than many new pianos. The Tenor is strong, the Bass register is potent and the piano is capable of keeping up with a demanding pianist, but would serve the beginner well also.

A piano for all grades and beyond, a true family heirloom!

Free ground floor delivery, two year warranty, new adjustable matching stool, and tuned on arrival.
